Designing for Impact: Embedding Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (ePROs) in Routine Oncology Practice

This webinar highlights how electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs) can be integrated into routine oncology care to support more patient-centered, value-based care. It outlines how ePROs—patient-reported data on symptoms, needs, and quality of life—enable proactive symptom monitoring, improve communication between patients and care teams, and drive better clinical decision-making. Speakers share real-world implementation experiences, including key challenges such as workflow integration and clinician burden, as well as success factors like strong leadership support, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective technology solutions. The session also demonstrates how ePROs improve outcomes by enhancing symptom management, increasing supportive care referrals, and enabling large-scale quality improvement and research initiatives.
