Research Priorities: Leveraging Health Information Technology to Address Cancer Prevention Disparities in Primary Care

In this webinar, the speakers discussed how the use of optimized health information technologies (HIT) could enhance guideline-concordant cancer screening delivery in primary care settings. This panel discussion identified research priorities for advancing the equitable implementation of electronic health record (EHR)-based tools in cancer screening. Panelists discussed evidence gaps related to the adoption of HIT for cancer prevention in primary care settings and opportunities to leverage such HIT to mitigate cancer screening disparities.
